The 5-in-1 emergency car light combines an LED reflector up to 310 lm with a 150 m beam, a hammer for tempered side windows, a seatbelt cutter, a side warning light and an audible alarm. It charges over USB-C and the side solar panel keeps it topped up in the car.

The OUTEQ FL4 is an emergency light designed to live permanently in your car. A single aluminium body combines an LED light reaching up to 150 metres, a tip for breaking tempered side windows, a seatbelt cutter, a side warning light and an audible alarm. It charges over USB-C, and the side solar panel tops it up continuously, so it stays ready even after months in the glovebox.
Key features
One body holds a flashlight, a hammer for tempered side windows, a belt cutter, a warning light and an acoustic alarm.
It charges over USB-C, and the side solar panel offsets self-discharge even after months in the car.
The reflector reaches 150 metres and the side LED strip alerts passing drivers to a stationary vehicle.
The aluminium alloy body with IP44 rating withstands rain, dust and splashing water.
At 200 mm long and 255 g it fits in a door pocket or the glovebox.

Features
One tool for darkness, breakdowns and escaping the car
The OUTEQ FL4 is aimed at situations that usually catch drivers at night and unprepared: a breakdown on the hard shoulder, changing a wheel in the dark, marking the scene of an accident or needing to get out of the car fast. Instead of several separate tools, one is enough – a front reflector with up to 310 lumens and a beam reaching 150 metres, plus a side warning light, a glass-breaking tip, a seatbelt blade and an audible alarm. Two buttons on the side of the head handle everything, one for the light and one for the alarm, so in an emergency you do not have to recall complicated press combinations. It makes the most sense for drivers who often travel alone or at night and want signalling and escape functions permanently within reach.

Six lighting modes for work and signalling
The front reflector switches between high light, low light and strobe, the side LED strip runs in high and low modes, and the sixth mode is a red-blue strobe. The strong front light reaches the hard shoulder or a ditch, while the low mode saves battery for close-up work such as checking fluid levels under the bonnet. The side strip does not throw far, but spreads light around you, making it useful as a work light where a narrow beam would only dazzle. After extended use at full output the head warms up, which the HOT marking on the body warns about.

Side warning light for a stopped vehicle
The side LED strip runs the whole length of the body, so it is visible from the side and at sharp angles where nobody would notice a front reflector aimed into the distance. On the hard shoulder it marks your stopped vehicle or the spot where you are working, and passing drivers understand sooner what to avoid. The red-blue strobe is more conspicuous, but on public roads blue and red warning lights are reserved for emergency vehicles, so this mode belongs off the road only – on private property, for instance. The light does not replace your mandatory car safety kit; it adds active light marking that is seen sooner.

Tip for breaking tempered side windows
The tip on the head of the light is for breaking a tempered side window in an emergency – the kind of glass that shatters into small fragments on impact. It is not enough for a windscreen (windscreens are always laminated) and it will not break laminated side windows either, which some newer vehicles are fitted with. The glazing type is usually printed in small letters right in the corner of the window, so you can check your own car before relying on this function. The tip stays permanently exposed – nothing folds out or screws on before use – and you strike the corner of the window, not the middle of the pane.

Seatbelt cutter and audible alarm
A blade concealed in the head cuts a seatbelt that cannot be released after a crash because the buckle has jammed or a deformed interior is pressing on it. It runs in a narrow channel, so there is no risk of cuts in normal handling and the blade never has to be folded out; you cut by pulling it across the webbing in one movement. A built-in buzzer with three sound modes draws attention when your vehicle ends up beyond a bend or in a ditch and nobody notices the light alone. Sound carries where the eye cannot see – in fog, dense vegetation or behind a rise in the terrain.

USB-C charging and a solar panel
The light charges through a USB-C connector with a 5V⎓1A input, so an ordinary phone charger or the USB port in your car will do. The side solar panel acts as a maintenance source: over the weeks the light sits in the glovebox it offsets self-discharge, though a full charge from empty is still the cable's job. Together they solve the main weakness of emergency kit – a light that is flat at exactly the moment you need it. Inside sits a built-in 18650 cell with a capacity of 2,000 mAh; Li-ion cells cope poorly with high temperatures, so in summer a door pocket or glovebox suits the light better than a dashboard in direct sun.

Dimensions, body and placement in the car
At 200 mm long, 45 x 33 mm across and 255 g, the FL4 stays in a format that fits a door pocket, the glovebox or the centre console. The aluminium-alloy body gives the light the strength the hammer function demands, and the IP44 rating protects the electronics from rain, dust and splashing water – it is not intended for immersion. With a tool that has an escape function, placement matters: carrying it within reach of the driver's seat makes more sense than in the boot, because you need to reach it with your seatbelt on. The black finish does not draw attention inside the car, so the light can stay permanently in place.

Frequently asked questions
Your most common questions.
How long does it last per charge?
Runtime depends on the mode – low modes save battery for close-up work, while high output draws more. Inside is a built-in 18650 cell with a 2,000 mAh capacity, and the side solar panel offsets self-discharge while the car is parked, so the light stays ready even after months in the glovebox.
Is the flashlight waterproof?
It is rated IP44 – it handles rain, dust and splashing water. It is not intended for immersion.
How does it charge?
Through the USB-C connector with a 5V⎓1A input – an ordinary phone charger or the USB port in your car will do.
The side solar panel provides trickle charging and offsets self-discharge while the car is parked; a full charge from empty is handled by the cable.
